These visitors were on Hana Adventure, which goes through Maui's rainforest area, or our Haleakala Sunrise,
which goes to the top of Haleakala (Maui's dormant Volcano).

To celebrate our 50 years of marriage, we cruised to the islands on the Niew Amsterdam and visited Hawaii,Kauai,Maui and Oahu. We took 6 side trips. Aloha Ray... I just wanted to drop off an email to let you know how happy we were with our tours. Mark was crazy enough to make getting up at the God awful hour of 2:00AM fun. We enjoyed the tour even though the sun never came up through the rain. Chris was the best. Out of all of our tours, we enjoyed Chris on the road to Hana the most. He is a genuinely good person and we enjoyed meeting him almost as much as seeing the breathtaking scenery! Ekahi tours is a great company and we will recommend you guys to everyone we know who heads out there. I also mentioned to the hotel that our best tour was through Ekahi.      First of all i have to apologize for waiting for so long to send this e-mail. It's been about a month since we returned from Maui having gotten married while we were there.
     But i must say how much we enjoyed the tour we took with Ekahi to Hana. I had been to Maui about four times but had never gotten to Hana. And my wife had only been to Maui once before and hadn't been there.
     We really were missing out. It was tremendous and extremely beautiful despite not having had that much rain in Hana recently. The waterfalls and scenery were fantastic.
     But what made it the best was having Cousin Martie as our driver and guide. She was fantastic. Her knowledge of the area was tremendous and i can't imagine having had a better tour or a guide. She made the day. She knew the answers to every question and didn't sound like she was reciting from a memorized sheet. She was very personable and i would certainly recommend your tour to anybody going to Maui and have them ask for Cousin Martie.
     The only disappointment was not seeing Martie at our wedding on the beach in Kapalua at Ironwood Beach. We took our tour on Thursday and were getting married on Saturday. I know she had to take a tour group that day but we were just hoping she might drop by so we could give her one more hug.
     Again thanks and give a big Mahalo to Cousin Martie for us!!!

Under a grey sky in London I was today looking at the photographs and at
my Survival Certificate so I decided to write a note to thank you.
After more than three weeks in the Hawaii I can definately say that the
Road to Hana was the best tour I had, and thanks to you it was the most
interesting and exciting. It was great to have as a guide somebody so
knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Many thanks again. The two songs at the
end of the tour were great too!

Bob:  We would very much like to thank you again for the personalized
presentation of the Hana Highway, the history and culture of Maui .... and
all it's wonderful uniqueness.  The evening you returned us to our hotel we
"hooked-up" with a couple of fello tourists, who had, the very same day,
made a Hana solo trip (guideless) armed with only a cassette tape.
 Needless to say we had a "tour-off" as to what we had learned from our
"Certified Maui Guide", Bob Hale, versus their cassette tape.  I truly
believe we left our friends green with regret as their self guided efforts
paled in comparison to the real life nitty-gritty you passed our way during
our/your tour .... not to mention that our marriage is still as strong as
ever after us not having to navigate, on our own, that obstacle course.

Subject: Thank youHi Gigi, Your help in setting up our tours for us when we were in Maui mid January was greatly appreciated. I'm sure you remember I'm the guy with the NECK problem. Mad Mark took us on a spectacular Sunrise tour. Too bad the batteries on my camera died on the very first picture & we didn't get any pics of the most gorgeous sunrise. The fact that you did not cancel when we turned out to be the only 2 on that trip shows a high degree of proffessionalism & integrity. Chris took us on the road to Hana. We soon realized that the back of the co-pilot seat was not adjustable & the angle of the back rest was not good for me, I moved to the 1st row next to my wife. Your suggestion to use a towel as a neck brace was great. Chris dropped us for breakfast & went home to get pillows to try to make me more comfortable. This was over & above the call of duty & shows the calibre of people associated with Ekahi Tours. Chris is certainly to be commended. It was a great pleasure to deal with you & we have recommended Ekahi Tours to our travel agent & friends. Please advise the owner of our Extreme satisfaction. Thank you, Sincerely,

We traveled the road to Hana on 10-18-99 with Jeremiah as our tour guide. Although the trip was the most hazardous trip we ever took we felt totally safe with Jeremiah as our driver. Jeremiah was pleasant, knowledgeable and energetic he went out of his way to make all the ladies feel special by presenting them with beautiful plants.

We would like to say that he was the BEST tour guide that we could ever imagine having! We really enjoyed our day because of him. He told us stories to make us laugh and he told us things we didn't know about. We learned a lot about your beautiful island. We think he did a GREAT job...we feel he doesn't just do the job. It seems like he really enjoys it and takes pride in his home land. We loved the tour (all the beautiful sights, the photo stops, the fruit tasting, the wine tasting, etc.) but without Chris it wouldn't have been perfect! He made the trip well worth and beyond the cost. Thanks for a great trip. We definitely would do it again!
